The San Giovanni cocktail at Cantieri Sultano
Another drink inspired by the Saints and created by Mattia Cilia, bar manager of Sultano Group. You can taste it at Cantieri Sultano, Ciccio Sultano’s secret bar, a stone’s throw from his Restaurant Duomo. Ragusa Ibla celebrates San Giovanni (St. John) the Baptist on 29th August as its Patron Saint. This cocktail testifies to the saint’s temperament, combining Fusetti Bitter, Bourbon, Nocino and Disaronni to create a delicate and acidic homemade cordial with notes of vanilla and lemon.
